Dock 410

In Digital Marketing, MKT 690G, our professor assigned groups to construct a digital marketing plan for local Wichita businesses. My group was assigned to Dock 410 which is an antique furniture store that sell a wide variety of products and photography. Dock 410 had little to no digital presence, so our main objective was to help them establish and ‘clean up’ their social media platforms. Our second objective was to increase the focus on their photography and promote their lessons and workshops effectively. My responsibilities included identifying the company’s current situation analysis, SWOT Analysis, and providing recommended actions/ tactics to achieve the set goals and objectives. I learned that it can be extremely difficult to work with a business that is very unorganized. The owners were extremely ambitious and unsystematic which made it difficult for them to focus on one main goal.
